2021-2022, We’re back!

We are pleased to announce that planning is currently underway for State College Volleyball in 2021 and 2022. Registration will open in the coming weeks, but we’re happy to share the following news with you.

One major change this year will be a full split into two seasons, fall and spring. So, both leagues (6s and 4s) will run from Sept.-Dec. and then again from Jan.-May.

Our first night of the season will be September 12th with our annual Pizza and Pickup night.

Please keep in mind that the COVID-19 pandemic is still real and can alter anything we have planned.

Information Session

Join us on Tuesday, September 3rd for our annual information session. There will be a short presentation of information valuable to captains and players interested in the 2019-2020 SC Volley seasons.

This year we are piloting a new league, Reverse Co-Ed Fours. This dynamic format allows teams to mix and match players to work around different advantages. Teams must have one male and one female on the court, and any combination of the last two players is permitted. The net is setup at women’s net height and male players can only attack from behind the 10′ line. Join us at the information session for more information, or reach us at Contact Us.

SCVolley to attend LION Bash on August 29

SCVolley will be one of the 75 engagement stations at 2018 LION Bash. LION Bash will be held on Wednesday, August 29 from 5pm to 8pm on the 100 and 200 blocks of South Allen Street in downtown State College.

For those unable to attend the SCVolley information session on August 30, this is another good opportunity to come and learn about the league.

The overall goal of LION Bash is to provide an educational opportunity for new Penn State University (PSU) student residents and current Borough residents to learn more about the services and ordinances in place, which helps to maintain the quality of life and safety in our community.
